We know that visiting a new salon can be intimidating, especially if you're unsure of what to expect. Here’s some additional information to help make your first visit as seamless and comfortable as possible.
Reminders
You'll recieve a text/email reminder confirmation 72 hours before your upcoming appointment. Please be sure to confirm so we know you will be coming.
Another appointment reminder will be sent 24 hours before your appointment, no action is needed on this reminder unless you need to cancel or reschedule.
These reminders are through a no-reply automatic service so please use contact us directly if you need to make changes to your appointment. Messages left on Sunday or Monday will be responded to on Tuesday.
Day-of Appointment
Services for clients running late will be adapted to fit the remaining appointment time. Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may need to be rescheduled and cancellation fees will apply.
Late Arrivals
Parking is available at the rear of the building. To access, turn onto Calbeth (the street between Halogen and Modify Tattoo + Piercing, formerly Marc’s Tattooing). Our entrance is around the back as well.
Parking
Contrary to popular belief, dirty hair is not preferable — clean hair takes color better. Root touch up sprays are especially difficult to color over and may effect the end result of your color. It’s also a great idea to come with your hair as you usually wear it — whether that means air dried or backcombed or blown out.
Clean, Dry Hair
Please dress comfortably so you can relax during your appointment! We do everything in our power to ensure your clothing remains dry & stain free, but it’s probably still best not to wear your favorite, most treasured. most expensive items in case an accident does happen. Please avoid wearing bulky necklines (like hooded sweatshirts or turtlenecks).
If you want the title of Best Client Ever, wearing neutrals is so, so awesome for our “after” photos to show off your new look clearly.
Attire
Salon Policies
Only those receiving services will be permitted in the salon. Due to safety concerns, children are not permitted unless receiving a service.
No Guests, Please
In order to provide the best possible scheduling option for all clients and ensure our staff’s time is valued, 48 hours advance notice is required should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Canceling or rescheduling an appointment with less than 48 hour's notice will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the service price. Additionally, no-shows or continuously rescheduling appointments may result in dismissal from the salon.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
We want more than anything for you to be thrilled with your service. If you are having challenges with any part of your results, let us know within 7 days of your visit and would be happy to correct the issue at no additional charge.
Adjustments
Should you make a product purchase you are unsatisfied with, let’s find something better for you! Exchanges at full credit are accepted as long as you notify me within 7 days of your initial purchase

Payment
We accept cash, all major credit cards, and contactless NFC payments like ApplePay and GooglePay. We now also accept Klarna and affirm!
Accessibility
Our entire building is ADA accessible including parking, restrooms, even our shampoo sinks. We offer quiet appointments and after-hours appointments for those who prefer an anxiety and/or sensory-friendly experience. We are happy to accommodate any additional accessibility requests — please don’t hesitate to let us know what you need!
Benny
You may have seen that our Director of Security is usually present at the salon — if you’re severely allergic or uncomfortable with dogs, please don’t hesitate to let us know! Benny loves taking the day off to snuggle at home so it’s no problem. If you’d like to read about him, check out his bio.
