I created Halogen because a salon that held my values – an eco-conscious, LGBTQIA+ safe space that worked with our NEPA community – didn’t exist. I was born and raised in Hazleton, and I’ve made it my guiding light to stay here and carve out the little slice of heaven that so many of us have been seeking.

I specialize in creative color and hair extensions. I enjoy squashing myths that these services are not conducive to healthy hair. I have baby fine hair myself, and wear k-tips regularly to add density, so my favorite moments behind the chair are when a client realizes they can have their dream hair through extensions. I am certified by Bellami in 4 extension methods, I’ve worked as an Olaplex Advocate for 7 years, and have taken dozens of classes — I pride myself in being a life-long learner.

As a stylist with 13 years of experience, 6 of those dedicated to salon ownership, my goals for both my team and clients are the same: encourage to embrace your truest self, and do all I can to help you achieve your goals. 

As a leader, I challenge traditional ideas of what a stylist’s life can look like and assist Halogen’s staff in achieving dreams they never thought they could. Mentorship is a huge part of our culture and I’m so proud of our collaborative and supportive space. 

As your stylist, I want not only to achieve your hair goals, but also help you feel confident and connected by challenging beauty standards and shimmying you out of your comfort zone. I love getting to know the true you and getting lost in all-day services. When I’m not gushing over my staff and clients, I’m a serial hobbyist. I love knitting socks and sweaters, gardening (both indoor and outdoor), plant-based cooking, reading fiction, and smothering my dog Benny with about a hundred kisses a day.
